How will you answer Maslow’s question?

Abraham Maslow, Professor of Psychology at Boston University, would ask his university students: “Who is going to write the next great psychology textbook?” No one would ever raise their hand. But then he would say something which I think is one of the most important phrases in all of life: “If not you then who?”
Being an Advisor in the top 10% of the over 600,000 thousand registered representatives is an accomplishment. It also means production is over one million a year. Moving into this level of performance requires a number of skills and some talent applied intentionally every day. And more importantly than that, it requires a belief in yourself.
While being one of the best advisors to achieve this level requires more than a desire; it requires a belief that it is possible.
This quote from the journalist Maureen Dowd tells you the alternative:
“The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for.”
